"Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
A couple of my passions in life are learning, traveling and photography. Photography lets me share my personal vision of the world. I like to capture the spirit of the moment, the image captures what I feel and the memories will linger. I have been involved in photography since childhood. It was my grandfather and his son, my uncle, who made me enthusiastic for photography after teaching me basic black and white darkroom techniques. It was so much fun. Since then, I have experimented with traditional black and white printing and have been taking lots of photographs. I have an ever growing library of slides and negatives and digital photographs documenting my adventures, family, events, my city, etc. I think I do photography because I have a short memory and I need pictures to remind me of what happened or when I feel at home when I am aborad. I am lousy at golf, it is therapeutic and it makes me happy. #rjatrix |
